Bethany Petty is a Christian, mom, wife, award-winning high school Social Studies teacher, professor of educational technology, published author, national speaker, reader, runner, and coffee fan. She blogs regularly at Teaching with Technology (usingeducationaltechnology.com) where she shares tips, tricks, ideas, and resources from her high school Social Studies classroom. Bethany is a Google Certified Trainer and Innovator, and has written two books about using educational technology to enhance learning, increase engagement, and make learning memorable. Her first book, Illuminate: Technology Enhanced Learning, was published in 2019 by Dave Burgess Consulting, and her second book, Create: Illuminate Student Voice Through Student Choice, was published in 2020, also by Dave Burgess Consulting.
