Official Giveaway Rules and Regulations

No purchase necessary. Making a purchase will not increase your chances of winning. The Promotion is open only to legal residents of the state of Michigan who at the time of entry are:

Eighteen (18) years of age or older and
Currently employed full-time or part-time as an educator or school staff by an accredited public or private K-12 school in the State of Michigan, or a Michigan preschool that is part of a public school district or must have accreditation from the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).

WeAreTeachers (5335 Gate Pkwy., Jacksonville, FL 32256) is the official administrator of this program, and Meemic Insurance Company (1685 N. Opdyke Rd., Auburn Hills, MI 48326) is the Sponsor. Employees of WeAreTeachers, Sponsor, and/or their affiliated companies, subsidiaries, distributors, sales representatives, agents, advertising and promotional agencies, and the immediate families and household members (parent, spouse, child, or sibling) of each are not eligible to participate. The Promotion is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

Entry Rules and Agreements

Entries must be submitted using the online form on this page or by mail between August 16, 2023, and September 19, 2023. To enter by mail, send your name, complete home address, phone number, and email to 5335 Gate Pkwy., Jacksonville, FL 32256. All entries must be received at 11:59 p.m. Central Time on September 19, 2023.
Entries generated by script, macro, robotic, programming, or any other automated means are prohibited and will be disqualified.
All entrants must be legal residents of the state of Michigan with a current U.S. address for prize fulfillment. Prizes that require shipment will not be shipped internationally.
Limit one entry per person, regardless of method of entry.

Winner Selection Rules and Agreements

Winners will be selected by random drawing on or around September 25, 2023, and announced on the WeAreTeachers website on September 26, 2023.
All published prizes from the Sponsor are fulfilled by the Sponsor and are the sole responsibility of the Sponsor. The Sponsor is responsible for contacting winners by email by October 2, 2023, and fulfilling all other related prizes directly to the winners via email.
WeAreTeachers and its Sponsors make every attempt to fulfill prizes. Prizes unclaimed after 60 days will not be awarded. In the event of non-compliance with any applicable requirement, or if a winner cannot be contacted or is deemed ineligible, the prize will be automatically forfeited by the winner and a new winner will be selected by random drawing.

Only the number of prizes stated in the Rules is available to be won. All prizes will be awarded provided a sufficient number of eligible entries is received. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

WeAreTeachers and the program Sponsor reserve the right to extend the submission deadline and/or winner announcement.
WeAreTeachers and the program Sponsor reserve the right to modify, cancel, or suspend the Promotion or any part of it.
Information provided by you under this program is subject to WeAreTeachers’ privacy policy located at www.weareteachers.com/privacy-policy/. Sponsor (Meemic Insurance Company) collects personal data when you enter this Promotion. Entering the Promotion online, or by putting your entry form into the entry box, constitutes your permission for the Sponsor and its associated companies to maintain the data. This data is collected to maintain a record of those who have entered the Promotion, to ensure contact with potential winners, and for marketing purposes in accordance with the Sponsor’s Privacy Policy located at Meemic.com/Privacy.
WeAreTeachers and the program Sponsor are not responsible for incorrect or inaccurate entry information whether caused by Internet users or by the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Promotion or by any technical or human error that may occur in the processing of the entries. Sponsor is not responsible for computer system, phone line, hardware, software, or Promotion malfunctions or other errors, failures, or delays in computer transmissions or network connections that are human or technical in nature.
WeAreTeachers and the Sponsor retain the discretion to make all decisions regarding the interpretation and application of these rules. All decisions are final and discretionary. The laws of the state of Michigan shall govern this Promotion. The courts of Michigan shall be the exclusive forum for any dispute relating to these Rules and/or this Promotion. All participants and winners agree, by their participation in the Promotion, to submit to the personal jurisdiction of the courts of Michigan. Prizes may be considered income, and any and all taxes associated with prizes are the responsibility of the winners.
Winners may make no substitution or transfer of prizes. All federal, state, and local taxes and other associated costs are the responsibility of each winner. Winners will be required to sign an affidavit of eligibility and liability & release form, and an acknowledgment of taxation/value of prize form.
